Um, Who Are You and Were You Always Here?

It's graduation day and you are anxiously awaiting your name to be called to walk across the stage. However, as you await your turn, you begin to hear the names of people you've never even heard before and see them walk across the stage. You start to ask yourself "Who is he?" and "Was she always here?"

It's sad to say, yet it is true that there are people that attend the same school as yourself, but you never even realized their existence. You then start to ask yourself "How is this possible?" and "How did this happen?". Well, there are a few possible explanations.

First off, over the course of your time in high school, you might have been too caught up in your own life and business to even notice others outside of your circle or those who are the centers of rumors and scandals. Then there is the other possibility that these "invisible people" were just too quiet and didn't do anything to make themselves stand out, hence the "invisible" part.

In my own opinion, there really is no real way to combat this issue. Its not exactly possible to know every single last person of your class and be on good terms. The only thing you can really do, is be aware. Aware of who's around you, aware of what people around you are doing, and aware of how the people around you influence you.
